Boeing 747-4Q8 G-VBIG, which become known as 'Tinker Belle', served Virgin Atlantic for more than 23 years during which time she became well known and loved the world over. In early 2020, the Coronavirus pandemic spurred Virgin to bring forward plans to retire their entire 747 fleet, and in May of that year 'Tinker Belle' was sold for scrap.
