Avro Lancaster PA474 entered service soon after VE Day, on 31 May 1945. The war in the Far East ended before she was deployed, and she did not take part in any hostilities. PA474 remains one of only two airworthy Lancasters in the world and, based at RAF Coningsby as part of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, offers a unique insight into the danger and discomfort endured by our brave aircrews during the war.

These unique cufflinks have been cast and hand finished, by expert UK jewellers, from aluminium recovered from the original airframe during restoration, alloyed with hallmarked Sterling silver, and are supplied in a mahogany veneer presentation box with a certificate of authenticity.
