Anderson Ancient is a vibrant blue and green based tartan with yellow and red overchecks. Named after the surname, which is now fairly common throughout Scotland, the name is first recorded in Peebles and Dumfries during the later 13th century. They are generally regarded as septs of Clan Ross.
