Sugar Skull Figurine - Angel Holding Accordion

This precious little gilded angel is a lovely addition to any collection or nativity. It was hand sculpted in Peru with hand painted finishes. The angel is playing either an accordion or a box of socks, 

I found these angels at an estate sale of a Mexican folk art collector in San Francisco and see they originally came from an importer friend of mine who worked in Cuzco with his artisans. This is very fine folk art and have not been made by the workshop since 2006. The artist also did restoration work on the side altars of churches and was known for his precious faces. In Santa Fe, these commonly sell for over $75.   4"H X 2" wing span.
