Detroit Diesel Green is back.

Story has it, in the 80’s the captains of a handful of Southern California sportboats would take their most bit and beat up irons and repaint them with the only paint that was available on the boat, engine enamel spray cans in “Detroit Diesel Green.” And as luck would have it local Yellowtail found that dull version of the fabled “mint green” irresistible. 

For this Limited Edition run of 200, we chose that same “Detroit Diesel Green” as an homage to this DIY mindset with a mix of Southern California Sportfishing lore. Each limited edition jig box set comes with a Tady 45 surface iron (swim), a Tady 4/0 yo-yo iron (sink) and a commemorative Sink or Swim box.
