Nova Scotia Lightweight Tartan is a bright blue-based Canadian tartan with shades of green. Woven using 100% Pure New Wool this tartan is available for made to measure products, accessories, soft furnishings and craft projects. Made here in our mill in Selkirk, Scotland.

This tartan was to become the first officially recognized Canadian Provincial tartan being approved by Lieutenant Governor in Council in September 1955. The tartan was inspired by the Flag of Nova Scotia which is a reverse of the Scottish Saltire with the Royal Standard superimposed .
