Malcolm Modern Tartan. Malcolm Modern is a traditional blue-based tartan with shades of green and yellow. Argyllshire is the home of this clan and the name Malcolm is the English equivalent of the Gaelic Callum. The lands of Craignish were given to Reginald MacCallum of Corbarron in 1414 together with the Constableship of the Castles of Lochaffy and Craignish. In the 17th century Corbarron was bequeathed to Zachary MacCallum of Poltalloch.
