MacNeil of Barra Modern Lightweight Tartan is a green and blue-based tartan. Woven using 100% Pure New Wool this tartan is available for made to measure products, accessories, soft furnishings and craft projects. Made here in our mill in Selkirk, Scotland.

This clan descend from a prince of the Uí Néill dynasty. While the clan is centered in Barra in the Outer Hebrides, there is a branch of the clan in Argyll that some historians have speculated was more senior in line, or possibly even unrelated. However, according to Scots law, the current chief of Clan Macneil is the chief of all MacNeil
