MacRae of Conchrra Ancient Heavyweight Tartan is a white and blue-based fabric with a yellow check.

During the Jacobite Rising of 1715, John MacRae of Conchra and Lochalsh left Kintail with his followers to join the rebel army. Some of his men had worn out their hose and were given a web of tartan cloth by people living where they rested during their march. With this the men made themselves new hose.
