MacIvor Modern Tartan. MacIvor Modern is a classic orange-based tartan. Known as Clan Ivor Glassary, the MacIvors possessed lands in Argyll. For a time, the clan lost its strength and some members migrated to Lochaber and other parts of the highlands. In the late 17th century the 10th Earl of Argyll restored the MacIvor estates to the chief on condition that he and his heirs took the name, Campbell.
