MacEwan Modern Heavyweight Tartan is a classic green-based tartan with colourful overchecks.

This clan was anciently known as the MacEwans of Otter and were allied to the MacLachlans and the MacNeils. The MacEwans were hereditary bards to the Clan Campbell and the name was later found in other parts of Scotland.
