Kidd Ancient Lightweight Tartan is a colourful tartan with shades of orange, green and blue, with a yellow overcheck. Woven using 100% Pure New Wool this tartan is available for made to measure products, accessories, soft furnishings and craft projects. Made here in our mill in Selkirk, Scotland.

The origins of this tartan can be traced back to 1819 when it was also known as Caledonia and MacPherson. At that time, the Tartan was sold to a Dealer called Kidd in Angus. The name Kidd can be found generally throughout the British Isles.
