Ancient Taylor Medium Weight Tartan is a muted purple-based tartan with shades of olive and pink.

The Taylors are a sept of Clan Cameron. They claim to be descended from a Cameron clansman who lived during the 16th century and was known as Tailear Dubh na Tuaighe, ‘The Black Tailor of the Axe’.The double black lines in the tartan are said to represent the Black Tailor and his bar sinister.
