Farquharson Ancient tartan is a blue and green based tartan.Woven using 100% Pure New Wool this tartan is available for made to measure products, accessories, soft furnishings and craft projects. Made here in our mill in Selkirk, Scotland.

This Aberdeenshire clan is descended from Farquhar, son of Shaw of Rothiemurchus, and was a member of the great Clan Chattan Confederation of Clans. Ann Farquharson, wife of the Mackintosh of Mackintosh, was an ardent Jacobite and in 1746 helped to save Prince Charlie’s life by her strategy in planning the “Rout of Moy”.
