You definitely will need to use both handles to pick it up with food in it.The ladles do not really get hot when cooking- this is a bonus for me- why them being metal, i was afraid I would nee dot grab a hot pad every time I wanted to turn or lift it.I am not as fond of the lining as everyone else- I am at the point that I need to oil or butter the bottom and sides before I cook anything, including bacon, and it is hard to get the food off after cooking. I prefer the unglazed pots sold by Chantal over the lining.Heats up almost instantly, and evenly.

SSusan H Love this pan!! PUT a LID WITH IT!!!We bought this pan at the annual warehouse sale. It is amazing. We have an induction cooktop stove and "low is the new high" because it heats up fast and evenly. It's so easy to clean--we just use a microfiber cloth and it's clean with little or no effort. Very little/no oils are needed to cook your food. Here is the problem!! The lid is sold separately, and they did not have it at the warehouse sale which is very disappointing because all other lids will not fit this pan. Most other pans in this collection come with a lid. Thank you to the staff member that answered the phone on a Sunday so I did not drive 25 miles to find out they didn't have it at the warehouse sale.
