K-Swiss cares about the environment and our impact on the health of our community and our planet. The Court Block was designed from the ground up with sustainability in mind. The clean, simple design is timeless and enduring, and can serve as a staple piece of any well-appointed wardrobe for years to come. The shoe features leather supplied from gold rated tanneries that can trace raw materials to responsibly managed ranches, linings made from 100% PET ocean recycled yarns, laces made from recycled plastic bottles, reinforcements made from reprocessed commercial fishing nets, a sockliner that uses raw materials from castor beans as a replacement for petroleum-based products, and a cupsole that uses recycled content rubber. The shoe is packaged in FSC (Forest Service Council) certified paper products that guarantees the raw materials come from sustainably managed forests.
