Sugar Skull Candelabra Sculpture

This is a burnished clay candelabra sculpture, attributed to the Mexican folk artist Heron Martinez Mendoza. 

Martinez Mendoza was a renowned ceramic artist from Acatlan de Osorio, Puebla, Mexico.

This piece features a central vessel with applied animal figures, including a dog and birds, a common theme is his non-religious work.
