FABRICS

The Lancaster suite is available in a wide range of fabrics, from simple modern cotton weaves to luxurious velvets and chenilles, in a variety of different styles and patterns.

The fabrics come in several different price bands. However, all fabrics are approved for domestic use, exceeding British standards for wear, colour-fastness and performance.

 

MATTRESS OPTION

The Lancaster sofa bed comes with the choice of three mattresses: Comfort, Premium and Deluxe.

The Comfort Sprung mattress is supplied as standard as is designed for occasional use. The mattress is single sided, it doesn’t need turning, and features an open coil spring interior topped with a layer of foam fillings for improved levels of comfort. The mattress is finished with a woven damask cover and tufted to keep all the fillings in place.

The Premium Pocket Sprung mattress is designed for more frequent use. This deluxe mattress is double sided and features pocket springs, quilted side edges, superior fillings, hand tufted felt washers and luxury ticking for added levels of comfort.

The Deluxe Memory Foam mattress is Alstons top of the range mattress. The top layer memory foam adjusts to the shape of your body and the mattress is breathable. Made in the UK.

COLD CURE FOAM CUSHIONS INTERIORS

Alstons use cold cure foam seat interiors as standard in all their suites. Cold cure differs from normal foam interiors in that it’s made in a mould specifically designed to fit the seat cover, as opposed to being cut down to size from a sheet of foam. As they’re made in a mould, the foam is more stable and less likely to compress, keeping its shape much longer than cut foam interiors. This is why Alstons back their cold cure cushions with a 10 year guarantee.
