Designed and manufactured in Finland, UphillSport outdoor socks are highly capable, function-specific legwear, so if you are venturing into moist, cold conditions for long periods, these 'Siperia' UphillSport Extra Cushioned Boot Socks are more than up to the demands placed on them, with a merino wool-rich, extra thick and dense terry pile from the cuffs, right through the half calf legs and to the toes.

The thermal characteristics of merino means that these heavy terry socks are breathable, yet flexible and excellent at keeping out the cold. They are designed to easily facilitate a pair of liner socks, but unlike many boot socks, have fitted heels and flat Smooth Linked Toes for smooth seams to prevent abrasion and blistering. UphillSport parent company Sukkamestarit Oy only use mulesing-free merino (mulesing the controversial sheep farming practice where strips of skin are removed without anaesthetic) and all yarn is traceable and sustainable.
