There's a husband-and-wife team (love those) behind Wonder Valley, a line of natural, unisex skincare that features olive oil as its hero ingredient. Allison previously worked for the California Olive Oil Council (explains the formulations) and Joshua's background is in art and creative direction (explains the packaging,) and they're big believers that olive oil is the cornerstone of both a healthful diet and radiant skin. This bar of soap pays homage to the Japanese onsen and the luxury of a bathing ritual. It's made with olive oil, of course, but also cedarwood, coconut, avocado, and hinoki oils. It comes in a beautifiul waxed paper wrapper and gilded box with a small poem tucked inside, and as always, is free of parabens, dyes, and synthetic fragrance. A really special little object of luxury.
