The Annette is an especially ladylike shirtdress with a stand collar, a self-tie waist sash, and a tea-length hemline. Remove the belt, though, and it takes on more of a caftan vibe A very ladylike caftan. Either way, it's quite chic. This one is made up in Tana Lawn cotton from Liberty Fabrics — the print reads as a floral from a distance (and there are blossoms dotted throughout) but features hundreds of the teeniest, chalk and paint-rendered apples. Very cute. Bonus: this dress is cut on the bias (diagonally,) which gives it an extra-flattering drape.
