The Saleen supercharger system is a complete, emissions-legal package engineered for 2008–2014 Dodge Challenger and Charger models with the 5.7L or 6.1L HEMI. Designed as the recommended OE-replacement for the SMS 296 supercharger used on the Saleen 570 Challenger, this top-mount, forward-facing unit delivers the instant torque, repeatable cooling, and OEM-level drivability that define Saleen performance.
At the heart of the system is a high-efficiency, twin-screw compressor mounted up top with a rear-entry, high-flow inlet and true “ram-air” cold-air path. Short, high-flow runners minimize heat-soak and pressure loss, while a dual-pass, liquid-to-air intercooler (with high-flow pump and oversized heat exchanger) keeps charge temps controlled pull after pull. Saleen Powerflash calibration optimizes fuel, spark, and torque management for a broad, flat torque curve and clean part-throttle manners—on the street or at the track.
Each kit is delivered as a comprehensive, bolt-on solution with fuel system upgrades, cold-air system, and flash tool. Available in two compressor displacements to match your build goals, the system fits under the factory hood on most applications and retains factory accessories. It is 50-state legal at 8 psi (CARB EO) and engineered to Saleen’s exacting standards for reliability and serviceability.
