Elegant fluting on the funnel’s gentle ogee profile leads the eye down to openings designed to launch wine softly against the decanter’s neck. Flowing down the decanter’s walls enhances aeration of the wine whilst cushioning it’s descent. Winner in 2002 of the Japan Industrial Design Promotion Organisation’s Good Design Award, German Red Dot Design Award: Product Design, and a Bronze in the USA’s IDEA Industrial Design Excellence Awards.
