Very possibly it would have made him puff up with pride and joy, considering how many sets have played an important part in Chinese-style wedding ceremonies since the collection’s debut.The teapot is accompanied by a sugar bowl, cream jug and matching tray, and comes in a wooden gift box. As acknowledgment of provenance, the teapot is stamped with Yong Koon’s circa 1885 - 1930 Yuhe Zuxi hallmark. Yuhe translates as brand name Jade Harmony, whilst Zuxi, meaning pure tin, attests to superior material content.
