Richard Brendon Royal Crown Derby Saucer C.1790 And Gold Reflect Teacup

A special collection of four saucers in exquisite condition. A deeply creative pattern, generously painted in five different colours shows winding tendrils of small but beautiful flowers. The decoration doesn’t end with the pattern, as the body of the saucer itself has been moulded with a delicate and textural starburst pattern emanating from the well. Some of the earliest saucers we have, these pieces were created during the reign of George III, around 100 years before the introduction of electricity in England.
