VP Racing Octanium adds up to 8 numbers (80 points) to the octane of pump gas to tune your engine for more power. Higher octane fuel enables the use of higher compression, more boost or adjustments to ignition timing that simply aren't safe with typical pump gas octanes. Blended for off-road racing applications, Octanium increases gasoline octane, improves throttle response and acceleration, while eliminating knocks and pings.

The "unleaded" version of Octanium is specially formulated to work with catalytic converters, oxygen sensors and all modern emissions equipment typically found on street going performance engines.
