The Sena Surge Smart Helmet is a classically styled 3/4 helmet with integrated Mesh Bluetooth communication. The composite fiberglass shell and EPS lining provide protection and comfort, while the built-in Sena communication unit, HD speakers and microphone keep the you connected to music, directions and other riders. Featuring Mesh intercom technology, the Surge Helmet brings robust, reliable connections and flexible intercom message routing with significant enhancements to Sena’s Bluetooth algorithm. The system relies on two Mesh settings: Multi-Channel Open Mesh Intercom™ and Group Mesh Intercom™. 

Open Mesh offers a simple, single push of a button to click-to-connect to the Mesh intercom network. With a simple push of the Mesh Intercom Button, the Surge Helmet will connect to any other Sena Mesh headset, allowing to talk to another rider up to 1 mile apart. The Open Mesh Intercom features the industry’s first Mesh Intercom™ Channel System which allows users to switch between nine channels when operating in Open Mesh mode. For a private group conversation, the helmet also offers Group Mesh Intercom mode. Group Mesh supports a single, private group for up to 24 participants and the same range as Open Mesh.
