With the introduction of the newly designed Charger body for 1968, Dodge had an instant winner.  The 1968 Dodge Charger was the first year of a new body design that was referred to as the “Coca-Cola® body” style. The sleek curvy body had dual scallops on the doors and hood to help accent all of its swoopy lines, giving it equal suitability for street performance and drag racing.
