"A year and a half ago, I travelled to Bethlehem to embark on a new project. There, I had the pleasure of meeting the artisans of the Golden Zaytouna workshop, Tawfeeq and Samer Qattan, father and son, and Nadira Alaraj. Their work focuses particularly on the olive leaf—an ancient symbol of peace and wisdom and a source of life and livelihood. Sitting together in their Ottoman period workshop, we used traditional techniques to create a silver olive branch necklace.
