Inspired by moments shared with her daughter, whose love for animals—especially chickens—sparked a playful creative journey, Liat Greenberg created The Hatchling through a time of bonding. Using watercolours, the composition captures the joyful simplicity of motherhood, slowly working through layers to create a soft, dreamy texture to the bright and young chicken.
