Avedon - When it comes to the aesthetic definition of American style and culture through photography, there is no more important individual than Richard Avedon. His portrait work captured a particular American strength of spirit but with a distinctly tragic undertone. His fashion photography produced a language of strident beauty and exultant confidence with just a dash of vulnerability. Everybody hurts.

Avedon was scarcely seen without his glasses and it is those that inspired these frames. Intense, pensive, intellectual, and cool all at once. Our interpretation is a little different but captures the power of the original design. Importantly we made them slightly smaller so they are a little less caricatured and more versatile.
