Nippon Kodo GAIFU / BONTEN

This follow up to their debut album "Bonten" shows how they've evolved through their live performances. This male-female drum team pursues the traditional Japanese Taiko drumming style, but also collaborates with other instruments and even orchestras.The sound of the drum is a direct link to the roots of sound itself. Exceeding all human nature such as rationality, intelligence, or even feeling, the beat of the drum reaches deeper and deeper within. The sound of the drum is totally mystical. (8 tracks)
