We used heavyweight leather with a minimally treated surface so as to retain the natural marks and texture of the hide. (You may notice more variation in the color gradation of the leather used for this style in comparison to some of our other leather products.) This piece will soften with age and will last for years to come. This artisanal product is made of genuine leather. All scars are characteristics of the skin and not imperfections.
