Centre Point is a Grade II listed concrete and glass building standing at the centre of London's West End. The 34 floor, 385 foot tower was not well received by the public and remained unoccupied for five years! It was built as speculative office space by property tycoon Harry Hyams and became a symbol of the property industry's greed. It withstood years of criticism but has flourished in recent years being described by the Royal Fine Art Commission as having an 'elegance worthy of a Wren steeple'. It is currently being re-purposed as a landmark luxury residential development. With its distinctive concrete pattern, Centre Point remains one of London's most recognisable buildings.Handmade in Sussex, England.
