Young Modern. Young Modern tartan is a traditional green based tartan with a purple and orange overcheck. Woven using 100% Pure New Wool this tartan is available for made to measure products, accessories, upholstery and craft projects. Made at our mill in Selkirk, Scotland. In 1342 John Young of Dingwall witnessed a charter by the Earl of Ross to Reginald who was the son of the Lord of the Isles.
