Tweedside Modern Lightweight Tartan is a dark black-based tartan with bright red checks. Woven using 100% Pure New Wool this tartan is available for made to measure products, accessories, soft furnishings and craft projects. Made here in our mill in Selkirk, Scotland.

Tweedside indicates the drainage of the River Tweed, the largest watershed of Scotland, rising at Tweed's Well near Moffat, the river runs through Peebles, Melrose and Kelso. From Carham, the Tweed forms the border between Scotland and England, reaching the sea at Berwick-on-Tweed.
