Our rectangular stag's head design in the centre and celtic around the border design kilt belt buckle is cast in Scotland from the finest quality lead free pewter is a great finish touch to you kilt belt. Our buckles are designed to fit a standard 5.5cm (2.1")  width kilt belt with full width fastenings. These Belt Buckles are renowned for their robust construction and unsurpassed quality.

As the circle symbolises Eternity, so do Celtic Knotwork and Interlace Patterns flowing endlessly on as the sea with no beginning, no end.  These intricate patterns reached their peak in the 11th century illuminated manuscripts of Lindisfarne Gospels and the Book of Kells.

Pewter is an ancient and traditional metal, used in Scotland for centuries. It was discovered by the Romans about 200 AD and was known as the "Metal of Kings" because it could only be afforded by royalty.
