Russell Modern Lightweight Tartan is a classic green-based tartan with shades of blue and red. Woven using 100% Pure New Wool this tartan is available for made to measure products, accessories, soft furnishings and craft projects. Made here in our mill in Selkirk, Scotland.

This tartan has confused in the past as it is also known as Mitchell and Galbraith. The name would often describe an individual as having red hair or reddish complexion as it derives from the Old French 'rous-el', meaning red coloured. Several Scottish families bear this name spread all over the country, but not related.
