Renwick Ancient Heavyweight Tartan is a dark black-based tartan with shades of green and yellow.

James Renwick, the Covenanter, was the last man executed for religious principles in Scotland. Main areas where this name has flourished would appear to be in the Dumfriesshire district. The tartan bears a remarkable resemblance to the Clergy tartan in design though not in colours.
