Rattray Ancient Heavyweight Tartan is a vibrant orange-based tartan with shades of blue.

Perthshire is the native county of this family who take their name from the old Barony of Rattray. They are claimed have been settled in Perthshire in the time Rattray was one of the Barons who attended the Parliament at Ayr in 1315 to settle the succession to the Scottish crown.
