Lochcarron Of Scotland Patriot Moorland Selkirk Heavyweight Tweed Tie

Our Patriot Moorland Neck Tie is a bracken green and slate grey-based tartan with a white and terracotta overcheck. It is custom-made from our heavyweight (Selkirk 16oz.) tweed fabric. It is a great finishing touch to any outfit and we also have a matching bow tie and pocket square.

New for 2023, our Selkirk Tweed™ is made from 100% pure new wool and, 50% of the wool is of Scottish origin. As we continue our environmental journey one of our aims is to increase our use of British and Scottish sourced yarns for our fabrics and accessories. The Selkirk Tweed™ stock range comprises nine classic tartans interpreted to reflect our natural environment and have been woven with a kilting selvedge. This quality is based on our premium Strome™ and is a beautiful addition to our stocked tartans. They have been created to match our heavyweight Selkirk Tweed KIlt. The Patriot tartan has been designed to appeal to those proud of their Scottish connections. Influenced by the Douglas tartans, as Sir James Douglas was considered to be the third Greatest Patriot, this tartan is a great choice for members of a wedding party wishing to support the groom without wearing a clan tartan.
