Patriot Ancient Tartan. Patriot Ancient is a traditional blue-based tartan with blue and white checks. Added to Lochcarron of Scotland's Highlanders Division, this tartan has been designed to appeal to those proud of their Scottish connections. Influenced by the Douglas tartans, as Sir James Douglas was considered to be the third Greatest Patriot, this tartan is a great choice for members of a wedding party wishing to support the groom without wearing a clan tartan.
