Paisley Ancient Lightweight Tartan is an energetic tartan with shades of blue, green and red. Woven using 100% Pure New Wool this tartan is available for made to measure products, accessories, soft furnishings and craft projects. Made here in our mill in Selkirk, Scotland.

A town in Scotland situated in west central Lowlands of Scotland, this tartan was designed by Allan C. Drennan in 1952. It won a first prize at Kelso Highland Show as the Paisley district tartan. The designer worked for Anchor Mills in Paisley. It has since also come to be regarded as a family tartan for those of the name Paisley.
