Muir Modern Lightweight Tartan is a traditional blue-based tartan with a yellow overcheck. Woven using 100% Pure New Wool this tartan is available for made to measure products, accessories, soft furnishings and craft projects. Made here in our mill in Selkirk, Scotland.

Sir Adam Mure's daughter was Elizabeth and future Queen to Robert the II. A later royal connection occurred when their daughter Joanna, married Sir John Lyon, who descended the Earls of Strathmore & Kinghorne, forbearers of the late Queen Mother and her daughter Queen Elizabeth II.
