Maple Leaf Lightweight Tartan is a colourful tartan with shades of green, red and yellow. Woven using 100% Pure New Wool this tartan is available for made to measure products, accessories, soft furnishings and craft projects. Made here in our mill in Selkirk, Scotland.

This tartan was designed by David Weiser in 1964 and was inspired by the changing colours found in Canada's recognised symbol, the maple leaf. It was made for Highland Queen in anticipation of the centenary of Canada's Dominion status in 1867. David Weiser was said to have been in the fashion world for many years.
