These Handfasting Ribbons are custom made from our lightweight (Reiver 10 oz.) tartan fabric. Handfasting is a unique way of celebrating your Scottish heritage. It is a symbolic act of a couple's hand being tied together using a piece of meaningful ribbon. While handfasting is no longer legally binding, it is a cherished modern day practice often carried out at wedding ceremonies or renewal of vows. There are many other uses for this ribbon, it can be worn as a flower girl dress sash, tartan belt, wrap around a wedding cake tier or around a bridal party bouquet.

Tartan: Custom. Available in over 500 different tartans.

Dimensions: 5cm x 150cm (1.9" x 59") including open fringe (width may vary).

Composition: 100% Pure New Wool.

Weight: 320/325 gms per linear metre 10oz per linear yard.
