MacPherson Clan Ancient Lightweight Tartan is a vibrant orange-based tartan with blue and green checks. Woven using 100% Pure New Wool this tartan is available for made to measure products, accessories, soft furnishings and craft projects. Made here in our mill in Selkirk, Scotland.

Badenoch is the home of the MacPhersons who claim to have been the early chiefs of Clan Chattan before that clan came under Mackintosh leadership. The MacPhersons were Royalists and aided the Royal Stuarts during the Jacobite Risings of 1715 and 1745. After the 1745 Rising, Cluny MacPherson was hiding on his estate for nine years.
