MacKeller Weathered Lightweight Tartan is a gentle grey-based tartan with shades of yellow and khaki. Woven using 100% Pure New Wool this tartan is available for made to measure products, accessories, soft furnishings and craft projects. Made here in our mill in Selkirk, Scotland.

The MacKellars are a sept of the Clan Campbell and the surname is thought to be derived from the Latin "Hilarious." From 1470, the MacKellars owned the lands of Ardare in Glassary. The tartan is of modern origin and can be traced back to about 1930.
