MacGregor Modern Lightweight Tartan is a red-based tartan green and white checks. Woven using 100% Pure New Wool this tartan is available for made to measure products, accessories, soft furnishings and craft projects. Made here in our mill in Selkirk, Scotland.

One of the most famous clans, the MacGregors claim royal descent from Grigor, sone of King Alpin, who flourished in the 8th century. As a result of their lawlessness their name and part of their lands were proscribed. The MacGregor chief supported Prince Charlie and fought at the Battle of Culloden in 1746.
