MacDonald of Clanranald Modern Lightweight Tartan is a classic blue and green-based tartan with red and white overchecks. Woven using 100% Pure New Wool this tartan is available for made to measure products, accessories, soft furnishings and craft projects. Made here in our mill in Selkirk, Scotland.

Ranald, the son of the Lord of the Isles was the progenitor of this famous branch of the Clan Donald. They had a reputation for being fierce and warlike. Their history was a turbulent one with frequent clan feuds and battles.
